When Christina graduated from our Group Soundbath Relaxation Therapy course in January 2022, she could not have predicted how profoundly it would shape her professional and personal path.
“As a professional musician and organ soloist, I already had a deep connection to sound. However, the BAST method gave me something I had never encountered before: a structured, research-based, results-oriented approach to sound that could genuinely support people’s wellbeing.”
From Concert Halls to Soundbath Circles
Armed with her new training, Christina founded Soundquest, her own sound therapy practice. With a strong online presence, on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, alongside a dedicated email list, weekly newsletter, and website, she quickly began sharing her work far beyond her local community.
She has recorded a range of soundbaths and therapeutic instrument sessions in a professional studio, creating accessible online programmes for relaxation and reconnection. “These recordings allow me to reach people beyond geographical limits,” she explains, “offering accessible ways to unwind and reconnect through sound.”
Holding Space, Indoors and Out
Offline, Christina offers group soundbaths in yoga centres and hired venues, sometimes in collaboration with yoga instructors. A recent highlight was organising her first three day retreat in a natural camping environment, combining movement, sound, and shared presence.
When summer arrives, she takes her work to the beautiful Greek outdoors. She facilitates beach soundbaths, inviting participants to connect with sound and the sea under the open sky. Her audience has grown organically, often attracting women aged 40–55, many of whom return time and again for the deep relaxation and emotional clarity her sessions provide.
Bridging Therapy and Science
Beyond public offerings, she has collaborated with academics on research and publications, particularly exploring sound in dental environments and other healthcare settings. One standout moment was presenting sound therapy at the first dental wellbeing day for women dentists in Greece.
Reflecting on her journey, Christina credits the British Academy of Sound Therapy with giving her more than just a new skill:
“The BAST method gave me the tools, confidence, and structure to offer sound work with integrity. It didn’t just add something to my already established musical career, it opened a new path entirely. A path that combines artistry, empathy, and research—and one I walk with gratitude every day.“
We are so proud and excited to hear Christina’s story and to see how she has carried the BAST method into the world with such passion, creativity, and integrity.
